Navigating Medicare:

A Guide for HR Leaders

Presented by Nicole Morgan

This presentation equips HR leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively navigate the complexities of Medicare. Designed to address the growing need for organizations to support employees nearing retirement, it provides a clear roadmap for understanding Medicare’s structure, benefits, and enrollment processes.

Nicole Morgan is the owner of Morgan Medicare Solutions, LLC, and a licensed insurance agent specializing in Medicare and retirement protection plans. Based in Sherman, Texas, Nicole brings over 20 years of experience as a Registered Occupational Therapist, having worked across all healthcare settings—acute care, outpatient, home health, skilled nursing, and community-based services. This clinical foundation gives her a unique perspective on the healthcare needs of aging adults.

Nicole transitioned into the insurance industry in 2016, leveraging her deep understanding of Medicare and senior care to help retirees confidently navigate their healthcare options. She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a Certified Geriatric Care Professional, a Long-Term Care Specialist, and holds Medicare Certification through the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), where she remains an active member and serves on the board at the state and local levels.

In 2022, she launched Morgan Medicare Solutions to blend her healthcare expertise with insurance planning, offering personalized and comprehensive solutions for Medicare, long-term care, and retirement protection. Her mission is to educate, equip, and empower clients to make informed decisions about their coverage—often becoming a trusted resource through community workshops, referrals, and one-on-one consultations.

Beyond working directly with clients, Nicole is deeply passionate about educating professionals who serve retirees—especially HR leaders, financial advisors, and healthcare coordinators. She partners with employers to help reduce the stress and confusion that employees often face when approaching Medicare eligibility. By equipping these professionals with a basic understanding of Medicare and access to a value-added resource, she ensures they can confidently support their employees in transitioning to Medicare with ease and clarity.

A proud Sherman native, Nicole lives with her husband of 30 years and their three children. She is an active member of her church and strives to live out her core values of faith, family, and community in every aspect of her personal and professional life.

The ADA Interactive Process - From Procedure to Substance

This presentation will describe how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) interactive process can create a collaborative dialogue between employers and employees aimed at identifying and implementing reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities. This process benefits employers by fostering a more inclusive workplace, enhancing employee productivity, and reducing the risk of legal disputes by ensuring compliance with ADA requirements. For employees, the interactive process provides an opportunity to communicate their needs and work collaboratively with their employer to find effective solutions that enable them to perform their job duties successfully. By engaging in this process, both parties can achieve a mutually beneficial outcome that supports the employee's ability to contribute meaningfully to the organization while maintaining a respectful and accommodating work environment.
